Control devices (15, 19) of a lighting system (11) control and/or regulate the lighting device. The memory elements are connected with the control devices such that the control devices access the information from the memory elements. The memory elements integrated into the lighting device comprise two contact surfaces for electrically connecting the memory elements with the control devices of the lighting system.
