The protective housing has a housing wall partially formed as a wall area, and an internal heat exchanger integrated in the wall area for supplying constant ambient temperature in an inner chamber. A heat exchange is performed with the inner chamber of the protective housing. The internal heat exchanger is viewed in a cross section through the wall area and formed on an inner pipeline that is placed and arranged at an inner side of the wall area that turns toward the inner chamber of the protective housing. A cooling medium i.e. water, is flowed through the inner pipeline. An independent claim is also included for a method for regulating a temperature in a protective housing.
