<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer fuel cell power generation system capable of making an installation space small by reducing greatly the used amount of an inert gas to be used at the shutdown of power generation operation. <P>SOLUTION: The solid polymer fuel cell power generation system 100 is provided with a control device 191 which, based on a power generation operation shutdown signal, controls to close valves 139a-139c so as to seal and cut an oxidation electrode side of a stack 111, and then, connects the stack 111 and a resistance 181 and controls to switch over a switching switch 182 so as to consume an oxygen gas 3 of the oxidation electrode side of the stack 111, and based on the information from a pressure gauge 192b, when the pressure P<SB>0</SB>of the oxidation electrode of the stack 111 becomes an oxidation electrode side specified value Po<SB>1</SB>smaller than the pressure P<SB>A</SB>of the surrounding atmosphere of the stack 111, controls to close the valves 149a-149c so as to seal and cut the fuel electrode side of the stack 111. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
