<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion excellent in chromatic characteristics such as a coloring power and a hue, and also excellent in durability, ink stability and dispersion stability. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion contains at least one of an azo pigment represented by general formula (1), a tautomer thereof, and a salt or a hydrate thereof. In general formula (1), G represents a hydrogen atom or a predetermined substituent; R<SB>0</SB>represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R<SB>2</SB>represents a substituent; A represents a 5-6 membered aromatic heterocyclic group; m represents an integer of 0-7; n represents an integer of 1-4, in the case of n=2, formula represents a dimer formed through R<SB>0</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, A or G; in the case of n=3, formula represents a trimer formed through R<SB>0</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, A or G; and in the case of n=4, formula represents a tetramer formed through R<SB>0</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, A, or G; when a plurality of G, R<SB>0</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, A, m are present, each may be the same or different. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
