<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation sensitive resin composition capable of forming a spacer for a liquid crystal display device without generating unevenness composed of minute concavo-convex parts on a film even when a slit coating method is used as a coating method, and to provide the spacer for the liquid crystal display device with specially high film thickness uniformity while maintaining various performances (such as compression performance with both high recovery rate and plasticity, and rubbing resistance) required by the spacer for the liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation sensitive resin composition contains: (A) an alkali soluble resin, (B) a polymerization unsaturated compound, (C) a radiation sensitive polymerization initiator, and (D) a specific polymer with siloxane chain.
