PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal block capable of preventing easy fall-off of a screw when the screw is loosened excessively, without applying a troublesome processing on the screw. SOLUTION: The terminal block has a housing recessed part (13) to house a terminal screw set, and the housing recessed part has a hexahedron shape surrounded by a mutually opposed pair of parallel walls (14), a bottom wall, and a rear wall with two faces opened, and grooves (14a) capable of inserting a terminal plate (15) along the inclined direction to a face orthogonal to the installation face of the terminal block and the parallel walls are respectively formed inside the parallel walls. A rib (13a) for preventing fall-off of a washer in a direction orthogonal to the bottom wall is formed respectively at the edge portion of the opening side opposed to the rear wall of the parallel wall, and in a posture of the head part of the fastening screw (16) of the terminal screw set facing the opening side where the rib is formed, the terminal plate is inserted along the grooves (14a), thereby, the terminal screw set is housed in the housing recessed part.
