PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrene-based resin extrusion foam excellent in flame retardance. SOLUTION: This styrene-based resin extrusion foam obtained by extrusion-foaming a styrene-based resin composition obtained by melting/kneading the polystyrene-based resin with a foaming agent is characterized in that the foaming agent is at least 1 kind selected from the group consisting of (a) a non-inflammable physical foaming agent and (b) a flammable physical foaming agent having a≥5×10-11cm3cm/(cm2×s×cmHg) gas permeability coefficient to the polystyrene, and also (c) 0.5-2.3 pts.wt. flammable physical foaming agent having <5×10-11cm3cm/(cm2×s×cmHg) gas permeability coefficient to the polystyrene based on 100 pts.wt. styrene-based resin, and also containing 0.1-3 pts.wt. halogen-based flame retardant based on 100 pts.wt. styrene-based resin as the flame retardant.
