PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder in which high quality printing can be ensured by controlling impact position misalignment and a recording medium can be prevented from being stained by adhesion of satellites or ink mist and which does not cause enlargement of the recorder and increase in cost incident thereto. SOLUTION: The recorder includes a scanning type fluid jet head 10 which jets a fluid from a plurality of nozzles, and a recording medium support which supports a recording medium P on which the jetted fluid impacts, wherein the recording medium support is equipped with a plurality of suction holes 51 for sucking the recording medium P; some of the plurality of suction holes 51 are located in the scanning region S of the fluid jet head 10 at positions overlapping in the plan view and are exposed suction holes 51b exposed to the side of the recording medium P, and planar members 11 and 12 having lower surfaces 11A and 12A located between the nozzle formation surface 21A and the recording medium P and extending in the direction perpendicular to the scanning direction of the fluid jet head 10 and parallel with the nozzle formation surface 21A are provided at least in a part of the fluid jet head 10.
