Disclosed is a brightness-enhancing film, including a certain fabric added to a base film to improve the visibility of fibers, and a method for manufacturing same. According to the present invention, as the melting temperature of isotropic fibers forming the weft or warp of fabric is lower than the melting point of birefringent sea-island fibers forming a different weft or warp of the fabric, when a lamination process is performed at a temperature between the melting point of the isotropic fibers and the melting point of the birefringent sea-island fibers, a portion or the entirety of the isotropic fibers is melted, to thereby improve the visibility of the fibers of a brightness-enhancing film and significantly increase visibility.
