The invention relates to a food composition for the preparation of instant stews formulated with the ingredients necessary to obtain fully prepared stews having different flavours, a high nutritional level and excellent sensory attributes. The composition mainly comprises selected textured soya, flavourings and/or seasonings and a meat ingredient and/or derivatives of the latter. The meat product is selected from beef, chicken, pork, duck, veal, lobster, shellfish, fish or any other meat product suitable for human consumption. The packed food is rendered ready for consumption simply by hydrating same with hot water. |
