MEDICAL NONWOVEN FABRIC, AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to medical nonwoven fabric comprising cellulose-based monofilaments which are gelled by a paper making process, a preparation method thereof, and an adhesion preventive film using the same. The present invention provides a single phase of medical nonwoven fabric comprising cellulose-based monofilaments which are gelled, so as to induce capillary action by micropores formed between the monofilaments, thereby controlling gelation velocity, and provides a composite nonwoven fabric formed by laminating a nonwoven fabric layer comprising a different kind of biodegradable polymer material which is not gelled on the single phase of medical nonwoven fabric comprising cellulose-based monofilaments which are gelled, thereby improving shape stability and convenience of operation. In addition, the present invention colors the medical nonwoven fabric to improve visibility, thereby allowing the medical nonwoven fabric to be applied or not and where the medical nonwoven fabric is to be applied so to be easily recognized. Furthermore, since the single phase of nonwoven fabric or the composite nonwoven fabric can effectively control gelation velocity by capillary action by micropores formed between fibers in nonwoven fabric, the nonwoven fabric can be used as an adhesion preventive film with improved convenience of operation and adhesion rate in contrast to known knit- or film-type adhesion films.
