PURPOSE: A composition containing gibberellin and 6-benzyladenine mixture is provided to reduce pithiness and soft rot phenomenon of pears. CONSTITUTION: A coating composition for reducing pithiness and/or soft rot phenomenon of Pyrus pyrifolia cv. Niitaka contains 0.05-6 weight% of gibberellin formulation, 0.01-1.2 weight% of 6-benzyladenine, and coating agent. The coating composition is applied to a fruit of 20-90 days. A method for manufacturing the composition comprises: a step of dissolving 0.01-1.2 % of 6-benzyl adenine in a solvent; a step of adding 0.05-6 weight% of gibberellin formulation; and a step of emulsifying in the coating agent. |
