The invention relates to a non-cyanide alkaline electrolyte for nanocrystalline bright plating with Zn-Ni alloy which, due to the nanometric components, confers optical brightness and increased corrosion resistance on the resulting plating. According to the invention, the electrolyte contains an amount of 6...12 g/l of Zn resulting from chemical dissolution of Zn pellets placed in some steel baskets, in a tank separate from the working tank, an amount of 1.2...2.5 g/l of Ni, 110...140 g/l of sodium hydroxide, 3...10 g/l of nanometric titanium dioxide or 3...10 g/l of nanometric silicon dioxide or 3...10 g/l of nanometric aluminium trioxide or combinations thereof, so that the total amount does not exceed 5...15 g/l and some additives in various concentrations, at a particle size of less than 150 nm.
|
