摘要 PURPOSE: A cable bolt structure and a construction method using a cable bolt are provided to significantly reduce a construction period and construction cost by reinforcing a slope and a tunnel by applying pre-stress to a rock bolt. CONSTITUTION: A cable bolt structure comprises an extended unit, a wedge(120), a tensioning member(130) and a coated pipe(140). The extended unit comprises a wedge groove, a stopping groove, a stopping plate and sharp edges(115). The wedge groove consists of three sections and comprises a slope to hold the wedge. The stopping groove is formed below the wedge groove. The stopping plate is protruded inwardly from the upper end of the outer circumferential surface. The sharp edges are formed on the outer circumferential surface. The extended unit is connected by a rubber O-ring. The wedge is inserted to the wedge groove of the extended unit. The upper end of the wedge adheres makes tight contact with lower surface of the stopping plate.
