<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a dispersion which is excellent in dispersion efficiency, substantially avoids liquid fogging and is excellent in dispersion stability and storage stability, and to provide a thermosensitive recording material which is excellent in color developing sensitivity and the whiteness of a texture. <P>SOLUTION: The dispersion contains a vinyl alcohol-based polymer having a polyoxyalkylene group in a side chain, wherein the vinyl alcohol-based polymer has a viscosity-average degree of polymerization P of 100-1,000, a degree of saponification of 40-99.9 mol% and an amount of polyoxyalkylene modification S of 0.1-5.0 mol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
