<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) differential pressure detecting method and a DPF differential pressure detecting device capable of accurately determining regeneration timing based on a PM (Particulate Matter) deposit quantity. <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle is put while non-fuel supply to an internal combustion engine 10, an exhaust pipe 2 is cut off at the upstream side of a DPF 3, and exhaust gas is bypassed to the downstream side of the DPF 3 from the upstream side of its cutoff place, and air is poured in from a positive pressure pump 6 between the cutoff place and the DPF 3, and the differential pressure of the DPF 3 is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
