<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveyance device capable of eliminating electric power consumption of a switch circuit that stops electric power supplied to a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) from an electricity storage device when stopping a carriage unit. <P>SOLUTION: This article conveyance device includes a traveling rail arranged along a conveyance path and the carriage unit capable of traveling on the traveling rail, and conveys an article along the conveyance path by loading the article on the carriage unit. The carriage unit includes a motor for making the carriage unit travel, the electricity storage device for supplying electric power to the motor, the PLC for controlling the electric power supplied to the motor from the electricity storage device and the switch circuit for non-electrically maintaining a cutoff state of cutting off the electric connection between the PLC and the electricity storage device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
