PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity adjustment device, capable of adjusting the capacity of a battery, without providing any capacity adjustment circuit for each battery included in a battery pack. SOLUTION: The capacity adjustment device includes the battery pack including a plurality of batteries, a power supply line connected to the battery pack electrically, a detection unit including an AC signal oscillation unit for oscillating an AC signal using a power of the battery and detecting a voltage of each battery, a control unit for receiving a voltage detection results detected by the detection unit and controlling the detection unit according to the voltage detection results, and an AC consumption unit that is connected to the AC signal oscillation unit electrically via the power supply line, and consumes the capacity of the battery by a flow of an AC signal.
