PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to suitably hold up-to-date information representing a connection configuration of a network device because of memory shortage. SOLUTION: The network device includes a memory device of preset capacitance and a notice information storing unit which receives a notice of device information of the network device from the other network devices connected via a network to store the device information in the memory device. The notice information storing unit includes a destruction determining unit which compares effective period information representing the effective periods of the device information included in the device information noticed newly in the notice information storing unit and the device information stored in the memory device to discard either of the device information in response to a comparison result.
