PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively observe an object by avoiding regular reflection light. SOLUTION: An imaging method for imaging an object to be imaged by feeding return light from the object to be imaged, to which light from a light source is irradiated, to an imaging device includes: a setting step of setting a regular reflectance of the light from the light source at the surface of the object to be imaged smaller by providing a material from the surface of the object to be imaged to an objective lens of the imaging device than by not providing the material on the surface of the object to be imaged; and an imaging step of imaging the object to be imaged by feeding the return light from the object to be imaged by the light irradiated from the light source and passing through the material to the imaging device through the objective lens.
