PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion gas generator capable of generating an activated secondary mixture gas (active ion) in a secondary mixture gas generation cell. SOLUTION: The combustion gas generator includes: a secondary mixture gas generation cell 7, which simultaneously receives a primary generation gas c generated in a primary mixture gas generation tank and a gas-liquid separation cell 3, and a pre-mixture fuel gas supplied from a gas supply device 9, and while passing the gas through a volatile hydrocarbon e via an activation accelerating member, generates a secondary mixture gas f activated by a complementary effect through the transfer of the substances; and a combusting means 12 combusting the secondary mixture gas f generated in the secondary mixture gas generating cell 7. The secondary mixture gas generating cell 7 comprises a reaction tank, and the activation accelerating member, which is inserted from an upper aperture of the reaction tank to a predetermined position so as to be retracted from the upper aperture, and which has a filter at the lower insertion end.
