The invention relates mainly to apparatuses of impact energy absorption for use in carriages and locomotives aimed at reducing longitudinal forces, working in a train at hitting of carriages. The inventive task is aimed at increasing of a shock absorbing device operation efficiency due to introduction of additional selective change the degree of absorption of the shock loading at its large and small values. The assigned task is characterized in that the shock-absorbing apparatus (fig. (2) comprising a multisurface body 1 with an internal friction surface, wherein the body includes friction wedges 4 together with a pressure wedge 3, the friction wedges being in contact with a support plate 5 located on a polymeric array, consisting of seriously arranged elastic blocks 6 separated by a laminated element 11 consisting of friction sectors with curved ends 14 positioned between the elastic blocks 6 and the inner friction surface 2 of the body 1. Moreover, it is preferable that the length of the friction surface 2 of the body 1 will exceed half of its length. An embodiment of the device provides increasing life-time of the curved ends of the friction sectors of the laminated element 11 making it corrugated, as well as applying an anti-friction coating on the side of the elastic blocks. |
