The invention relates to some displaying and lighting elements used for decorating constructions of any kind such as, for example, clocks, breakers, switches, sockets, telephones, shoes, curbs, road marks, hub caps, motor vehicle rims, etc. According to the invention, the displaying and lighting elements comprise a housing which can be made of materials with different transparency degrees, inside and outside of which there are mounted a series of light sources such as light emitting diodes of various colours or lasers projecting images, photographs, advertising texts, the light sources being controlled by means of some specialized circuits in order to vary the light intensity for establishing the succession and the number of lit light sources, for controlling the direction of light rays, creating light effects.
