Invention herewith described refers to the mounting of the flow meter for measuring the water consumption used by individual consumers, and represents a solution how to mount the meters on an existing installation without any building works. The sensor (1), but also the mechanical flow meter (11) are mounted by using reducers (6.1, 6.2) or union flat joints (14.1, 14.2), which are standard. These meters provide data on consumption of water to every consumer at any time. With digital flow meters, the display can be mounted for a remote reading as well.
