<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire excellent in operatability. <P>SOLUTION: The guide wire 1 has a wire body 10 having a linear first wire 2 arrange in the distal end side, a linear second wire 3 arranged in the proximal end side of the first wire 2 and constituted of a material having elastic modulus larger than that of the constituent material of the first wire 2, and a welded part 4 constituting by welding the first wire 2 and the second wire 3, a welded part covering layer 5 arranged so as to cover at least the outer periphery of the welded part 4, and a distal end side covering layer 6 arranged so as to cover at least a part of the first wire 2 in the distal end side of the welded part covering layer 5, the sliding resistance of the surface of the welded part covering layer 5 is lower than that of the distal end side covering layer 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
