PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method by which quick copy processing of enciphered data can be performed using by units.

SOLUTION: When data recorded in a recording medium of a copy source are enciphered unit data individually enciphered by a unit key corresponding to a unit, copy processing information (dealManofest) in which title information which can be utilized as index information of the unit from an information recording medium or a management server is recorded is obtained. The information processing device reads the title information in copy processing information obtained from the management server, selects the unit key corresponding to the title information, and generates data for copy by performing decoding processing of the unit by selected unit key. Discrimination of the unit and obtaining processing of the unit key can be performed smoothly by this constitution, and quick copy processing is attained.
