<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion section of branching cable, which has waterproof performance and has a high strength. <P>SOLUTION: The conversion section of branching cable has: a multiple core cable insertion hole, in which a multiple core cable is inserted in one end of a housing; and a single core optical fiber insertion hole, in which single core optical fibers in the number confined to the multiple core cable are inserted, and a tension member insertion hole, in which a tension member of the multiple core cable is inserted, in the other end of the housing. An opening is provided in the upper part of the housing, and at least one screw hole penetrating the bottom part of the housing is provided on the bottom part of the housing. The multiple core cable, the single core optical fibers, and the tension member are respectively inserted into the respective insertion holes and arranged in the housing. With a resin molded from the opening of the housing, conversion places from the multiple core cable to the single core optical fibers are integrated in the housing. Further, with a screw inserted from the screw hole in the bottom part of the housing, the tension member is fixed from the outside of the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
