PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bagging device for dropping articles to be packed into a bag while suppressing a dropped impact to the articles. SOLUTION: The bagging device includes a tray 12 loaded with articles 5 to be packed and dropping the articles 5 to be packed into a packing bag 3 by swinging movement, and a shielding plate 13 arranged so as to oppose to the tray 12 and for shielding so that the articles 5 to be packed which are dropped from the tray 12 do not escape from the packing bag 3. The tray 12 is arranged outside above the packing bag 3, and the shielding plate 13 is arranged inside above the packing bag 3. The tray 12 swings and bends downward as well as the shielding plate 13 moves down to enter the packing bag, and the tray 12 and the shielding plate 13 push the packing bag to widely open a bag opening 3A, so that the articles 5 to be packed are dropped into the packing bag.
