PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component holder capable of inexpensively mounting an electronic component such as a capacitor without reducing a mounting space of other electronic components or causing a problem of an insulation property, and to provide a method and structure for mounting an electronic component. SOLUTION: As a holder for holding an electronic component such as a capacitor 20 in mounting, this electronic component 30A is used which is formed of a tubular body, is formed with a holding part for holding the capacitor 20 in an inner periphery of the tubular body, and is formed with an object to be supported to a housing (support member) 13 fixed to a printed board 10 in an outer periphery of the tubular body.
