PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate overlap by using a groove formed in the peripheral face of a terminal pin for winding a magnet wire thereon. SOLUTION: In this terminal pin connection structure and method, a winding-start end (3a) of the magnet wire (3) is engaged in the groove (5) formed in the peripheral face (2a) of the terminal pin (2), and then the magnet wire (3) is wound on the peripheral face (2a) of the terminal pin (2).
