Azaindoles useful as inhibitors of janus kinases

Disclosed are azaindole compounds represented by general formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R1 is N(R")-CR8R9-C(O)-NR14R7 and the other substituents are disclosed within the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the azaindole compounds of formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for inhibiting JAK kinase activity or treating or lessening the severity of a proliferative disorder, a cardiac disorder, a neurodegenerative disorder, an autoimmune disorder, a condition associated with organ transplantation, an inflammatory disorder, or an immunologically mediated disorder.
