The wet-running motor vehicle friction clutch has a friction lining arranged on a friction lining support. The friction lining is pressurized on a friction surface at an assigned friction partner and has coolant guiding openings (5,6,7) on the friction surface for cooling the friction lining. A channel activated by the abrasion on the friction surface for pressurization with the coolant or an opening activated by the abrasion on the friction surface is provided for cooling the friction lining.
