PURPOSE: A absorbent for noxious gas treatment, a manufacturing method thereof and a noxious gas treatment method using the same are provided to eliminate odor caused by sOx and nitric oxide by eliminating sOx and nitric oxide effectively, be used in the removal of noxious gas within the wasted gas generated in the petrochemistry process and semiconductor process etc, swim when use of the liquid is not easy in the dry operating condition since can be manufactured as particle, and be possible operating in the room temperature, have no severe operating condition, and reduce the operation cost. CONSTITUTION: The absorbent for noxious gas treatment includes: a single or a mixture selected from the group of Ca(OH)2, CaO, MgO, limestone, and NaOH; a cation layer which includes bivalent metal cation and trivalent metal cation; a layered double hydroxide which includes anion layer which is inserted between the cation layer; and an oxidizer. On the absorbent, the content of single or mixture selected from the group of Ca(OH)2, CaO, MgO, limestone, and NaOH is 40 - 70 parts by weight and the content of layered double hydroxide is 1 - 30 parts by weight, and the content of oxidizer is 10 - 40 parts by weight.
