PURPOSE: Device and method for manufacturing a flux cored wire are provided to enhance the precision of the radiation position of a laser beam to the joint of a metallic thin plate since the radiation position of the laser beam to the joint of the metallic thin plate is controlled. CONSTITUTION: A device for manufacturing a flux cored wire comprises a CCD camera and a moving unit. The CCD camera takes images of the joint position of the metallic thin metal and output the taken image information to a controller. The moving unit is controlled by the controller according to the taken information of the CCD camera and moves a laser welding head by a certain distance.
