PURPOSE: A solenoid valve for a double-acting cylinder and a method of assembling the body of a solenoid valve are provided to ensure high quality since the inner spool of a sleeve bush smoothly moves without stopping. CONSTITUTION: A method of assembling the body of a solenoid valve is as follows. A installation hole(110) is bored through the left and right of a valve body(100) through machining and the inner diameter of the installation hole is ground. The sleeve bush is machined and the inner diameter of the sleeve bush is ground. A spool(400) is machined and the outer diameter of the spool is ground. For the sleeve bush to be inserted into the installation hole, the sleeve bush is cooled and contracted using liquid nitrogen. The contracted sleeve bush is inserted into the installation hole of the valve body and is laid at room temperature. The spool is inserted into the sleeve bush.
