摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-wire type touch panel enabling multi-point input. <P>SOLUTION: This touch panel is provided with: an upper electrode substrate having an upper conductive film formed on the first substrate; a lower electrode substrate having a lower conductive film formed on a second substrate; first and second electrodes formed at both ends of the upper conductive film such that potential distribution can be generated on the upper conductive film; and third and fourth electrodes formed at both ends of the lower conductive film so that vertical potential distribution can be generated on the lower conductive film with respect to the potential distribution generated on the upper conductive film, wherein the upper conductive film and the lower conductive film are arranged so as to be faced to each other. This touch panel is characterized such that a voltage with a fixed value is applied to the first electrode and the second electrode, so that the potential distribution can be generated in the upper electrode, and that a voltage for measurement is applied to either the third electrode or the fourth electrode, and that the potential is detected from the other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
