摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable gas turbine engine excellent in operation efficiency and capable of efficiently cooling a member positioned radially inside an exhaust diffuser. SOLUTION: The gas turbine engine (1) includes a compressor (3) for compressing air, a combustor (5) for feeding fuel to the compressed air (PA) from the compressor (3) to burn the compressed air, a turbine (7) driven by the combustion gas from the combustor (5), and the annular exhaust diffuser (43) for discharging the exhaust gas from the turbine (7). The gas turbine engine further includes a ventilation passage (VP) connected to the inside of the exhaust diffuser (43) after crossing the exhaust diffuser (43) radially from the outside of the exhaust diffuser (43) and passing a cooling object (57) radially at the inside thereof, and an ejector (61) for utilizing the compressed air (PA) from the compressor (3) and supplying outside air together with the compressed air (PA) to the ventilation passage (VP) as ventilation air (VA).
