PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which prevents poor brazing from occurring between the first and second plates of a refrigerant charging/discharging member and fitting projection parts of a connector for the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: An intermediate plate 23 is disposed between the first plate 21 and the second plate 22 of the refrigerant charging/discharging member 5 of an evaporator. In the intermediate plate 23, cutouts 35 and 38, by which outward expansion parts 28 and 32 for an inflow passage of the first and second plates 21 and 22 are communicated with each other and outward expansion parts 29 and 34 for an outflow passage of the first and second plates 21 and 22 are communicated with each other, are formed so that the inflow passage 24 and the outflow passage 25 for the refrigerant charging/discharging member 5 cross each other in the view from the layering direction of the all plates 21, 22, and 23. The both side ends of the cutouts 35 and 38 forming an inlet 24 side end of the inflow passage 24 and an outlet 25a side end of the outflow passage 25 in the intermediate plate 23 enter clearances 51 and 52 between rounds 46-49 of the first and second plates 21 and 22 and the fitting projection parts 44 and 45 to be brought close to the outer circumferential faces of the fitting projection parts 44 and 45.
