PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for hand fingers, which can be coated on all hand fingers to form flexible coating films, is excellent in quick dryability and adhesiveness to skins, and can moderately be washed down without irritating skins after use. SOLUTION: The external preparation for the hand fingers is characterized by including (A) an alkyl acrylate copolymer emulsion having a carboxyl group neutralization rate of 30 to 60 mol% in the copolymer with a solid content of 0.5 to 15 mass%, (B) a monohydric alcohol with a solid content of 20 to 70 mass%, (C) an oil with a solid content of 0.005 to 1 mass%, and (D) a nonionic surfactant.
