Provided are a method and apparatus for continuous fabrication of liquid crystal display panels, wherein only a normal sheet is fed to a lamination position to a square panel (202) and both are aligned with each other and laminated together continuously. In the continuous fabrication process of liquid crystal display elements, each of the means that configure the entire apparatus operate in tandem with each other such that the normal sheet portion of a polarization film sheet comprising a normal sheet, with no defects, and a defect sheet, with defects, formed on top of a carrier film included in a strip-shaped film laminate (2) can be reliably peeled from the carrier film by operation of the feed of the strip-shaped film laminate in tandem with a normal sheet detachment device (15), and the defect sheet portion of the polarization film sheet can be reliably taken up while laminated to the carrier film by operation of the feed of the strip-shaped film laminate in tandem with a defect sheet route changing device (14).
