An electrical angle estimation unit (110) calculates an estimated electrical angle (?eb') on the basis of an induced voltage (e) generated by a motor (20), and obtains an estimated electrical angle (?eb) by correcting the estimated electrical angle (?eb') with an electrical angle correction amount (??c). An electrical angle correction amount calculation unit (118) calculates the electrical angle correction amount (??c), based on a detection value (e?/e) that indicates the difference in state of the electrical angles of the q-axis and d-axis and that was calculated by an electrical angle error detection unit (117), such that the electrical angle of the d-axis will fall into a setting angle area (A) that is delayed more than that of the q-axis. This enables the step-out phenomenon of the motor (20) to be alleviated, when conducting sensor-less control. |
