<p>This invention relates to an enterprise planning tool. Enterprise planning tools are used to manage the operations of an entity and are becoming increasingly popular as companies migrate from spreadsheet based planning. The present invention provides an enterprise planning tool that comprises a plurality of interconnected objects, each object comprising at least one attribute and each object having a time dimension. Each of the objects has a relationship with one or more other objects thereby connecting the objects together. The relationship consists of at least one common attribute and at least a partial time dimension common to both objects. The object relationships are arranged so that each of the objects in the enterprise planning tool is connected to each of the remaining objects in the enterprise planning tool either directly or indirectly through one or more connected objects. By having such a tool, it is possible to provide more accurate information in a quick and efficient manner.</p> |
