PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of chlorella with improved greenness is provided to control potassium nitrate used as a nitrogen source within an appropriate range, and to offer chlorella dried powder having a bright chromaticity and greenness. CONSTITUTION: A chlorella strain is cultivated as the nitrogen source under the presence of KNO3 of 0.05~1.25 g / L. The cultivation is operated among culture medium including glucose 5~15 g / L, KH2PO4 0.5~1.5 g / L, MgSO4 0.1~2.5 g / L, FeSO4 0.01~0.05 g / L, KNO3 0.05~1.25 g / L and sodium citrate 1~3 g / L. Culture fluid or its concentrate which is obtained after the cultivation is sprayed, dried and pulverized. The spray drying is operated to a condition of an outlet temperature of 60 ~ 120 °C and an inlet temperature of 120 ~ 230 °C. The chlorella content in the concentration is a range of 120~150 g (dry weight) / L.
