<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently compression encoding RAW data obtained from an imaging element having pixel arrays wherein pixel positions are alternately shifted in a horizontal direction or a vertical direction, for at least one of the three primary colors. <P>SOLUTION: Out of RAW data obtained from the imaging element having pixel arrays wherein pixel positions are alternately shifted in the horizontal direction or the vertical direction, for at least one of the three primary colors, the RAW data of the color whose pixel positions are alternately shifted are divided into subbands in units of pixels of vertically adjacent two lines or the pixels of horizontally adjacent two columns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
