A boat coupling (10) including a jaw (15) for receiving an eye (11) which is attached to the hull (60) of a boat (61). A pin (20) is movable to bridge across the jaw (15) to capture the eye (11) between extended and retracted positions. A retaining arrangement for retaining the pin (20) in the retracted position will release the pin (20) upon the pin (20) being shifted to a release position, where after the pin (20) is moveable under a biasing influence (40) to shift to the extended position. |
