<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable image display by suppressing a contrast effect generated from a color in a peripheral visual field of a display device. <P>SOLUTION: Color information of a peripheral visual field of an image display device is acquired, and a white reference is calculated from an input image signal, and an adaptation point is calculated from the acquired color information and the calculated white reference, and an input image signal is corrected by using the calculated adaptation point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
