<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a high-quality panoramic image. <P>SOLUTION: A motion compensation parameter calculation part 303 calculates a parameter for compensating relative motion in an imaging apparatus which images a plurality of captured images obtained by sequentially changing an imaging direction during imaging. A face detection part 304 detects a human face area and generates face detection information. A human body area estimation part 305 estimates a human body area by using the face detection information and generates object information. An object information projection part 306 projects the object information in an overlap area in which adjacent captured images are overlapped to each other, to a sweep axis based on the motion compensation parameter.
