PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing valve device easy to adjust, in which a large rotation range of a valve element for adjusting a mixing ratio can be kept by suitably distributing and arranging holes on a circumferential side surface of the valve element. SOLUTION: The valve element 20 rotating in a housing 10 is provided with a closing part for closing inflow ports 12, 13. The holes are bored and arranged to decrease their opening dimension as they approach the closing part from the opposite side of the closing part of the circumferential side surface. When the valve element 20 is rotated, the communication amount between one inflow port and the holes continuously increases while the communication amount between the other inflow port and the holes continuously decreases. A valve body rotation angle from a closed state to the maximum opening state of the inflow ports can be as large as 180°while securing a state where a mixing ratio of water and hot water can be adjusted by the rotation of the valve element 20, as the closed/opening states of the inflow ports are replaced from the original states if the valve body rotates by 180°. The change rate of the mixing ratio of water and hot water with respect to the rotation angle of the valve element becomes smooth, which makes temperature of mixed water easy to be adjusted.
