PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnostic device which reduces a processing load while making the speed of a failure diagnosis high. SOLUTION: The failure diagnostic device includes: a control part having a battery voltage detecting part which detects a voltage of a battery pack and sets a first flag based on the detected voltage; a receiving part which receives the detected voltage and the first flag; a storage part which stores the detected voltage received by the receiving part and the first flag received by the receiving part and a flag setting part which sets a second flag based on the detected voltage stored in the storage part. The control part compares the first flag stored in the storage part with the second flag and diagnoses a failure in the failure diagnostic device from the consistency of the flags.
