PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively decreasing noise in a sheet conveying passage where paper powder is recovered and joined. SOLUTION: A pair of conveying rollers 9a and 9b is disposed in the downstream side of the sheet conveying passage in a confluence part where two sheet conveying passages 101 and 102 are joined, an elastically deformable blade 39a is provided so as to intersect with the extension of the sheet conveying passage in which the conveying direction of conveyed sheets is changed in the confluence part, and a bristle brush 39b which is in slide-contact with an outer peripheral surface of the conveying roller 9a is provided in the blade 39a. As a result, the impact of sheets is received by the blade 39a to reduce the noise and the paper powder that accumulates in the bristle brush 39b and the blade 39a is dropped off by the impact of the sheets, thereby the cleaning capacity of the paper powder is improved.
